• 31/7/24I got the 4pc chicken which is so freaking crispy it's absolutely hands down the best fried chicken I've had since moving to Lake wylie area 2 years ago. fried okra, tastes just like my daddy's. potato salad very creamy and perfect balance of flavors and hush puppies, big but very delicious, tartar sauce was on point. I also got banana pudding haven't tried that yet, but it looks good.
This satisfied my craving of comfort food 100% and the portions are very giving for not being too expensive! I'm so happy and will be ordering again!

• 23/9/23My first time trying Chicken King and it was delicious! The 10. Buffalo Chicken Pita was huge and so good. I also ordered the Hushpuppies and they were crispy and delicious. I didn't expect the pita to come with fries but it does. The picture shows fries but the description does not say anything about fries. They were good too. Now I am stuffed and ready for a nap

• 10/2/24This restaurant is always good, but today the cook went above and beyond. The Calabash Shrimp is the best I have had in a verylong time. The Perch Plate is my always go to plate when im in the mood for seafood. The Onion Rings are thegest Igave found since Cracker Barrel no longer has them on their menu.

• 5/10/22Our Chicken King was awesome today as usual! But tried something different... Pork Chop Dinner...was delicious!! (Btw for fellow door dashers, it comes with slaw & fries). The Double Cheeseburger was amazing! You could not get a better one!! The Chicken King is always quick & well prepared! For door dashing, they prioritize & everything arrives hot & delicious!

• 2/9/22The Chicken King has quickly become our favorite place to door dash for work! Food is always fresh & hot! The chicken tastes as close to Mamas or Grandmas as you can get! The shrimp is wonderful! I just wish they would add Mac & Cheese to their menu & they would be perfect!
