I’ve tried many Sri Lankan restaurants around Melbourne, but Chum Chum’s is by far the best one I’ve come across. The food is consistently delicious, authentic, and full of flavour. Every dish tastes fresh and perfectly prepared, and you can really feel the home style Sri Lankan touch in their cooking.
What I love most is the consistency and quality. I buy food from here almost every day, and they never disappoint. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the staff are always friendly.
If you’re looking for genuine Sri Lankan food in Melbourne, I highly recommend Chum Chum’s. It’s definitely my go-to place and one of the best spots for Sri Lankan cuisine in the city.

Chicken Kottu and Chicken Pan Chicken Pan Rolls 2 were both really good and really fresh, but even for a spicy food lover, they were both way too spicy! It was a black pepper kind of spice, but to the point it was burning my throat, so couldn't really enjoy the actual flavours.

I order from Chum Chum’s through DoorDash very often, and the food is always amazing. It’s honestly the best Sri Lankan food I’ve come across in Melbourne. The flavours are authentic, the portions are great, and the quality is always consistent. I order almost every day and they never disappoint. Highly recommend!

Fried chicken was so dry and hard to chew , very over price for 7pcs no marination whatsoever
Nasi goreng was very dry no moisture on it , very bland flavour .
