I’ve ordered from Chuy’s through DoorDash, grabbed takeout, and even dined in their lively establishment, and every single time, they’ve knocked it out of the park.
The journey always begins with their complimentary chips and salsa, which are as addictive as grandma's sweet tea on a summer day. Those chips are perfectly crispy and light, and the salsa has a tang that makes your taste buds do a happy jig. But let me tell you, if you want to elevate your appetizer game, you gotta try the Compesto queso dip. This heavenly concoction mixes creamy queso with savory ground beef, guacamole, and pico de gallo. It's like a Tex-Mex symphony playing a tune of pure delight.
Now, let’s talk main courses. The Comida Deluxe and the Elvis Presley Memorial Combo are nothing short of legendary. The Comida Deluxe is a Tex-Mex masterpiece featuring cheese Tex-Mex enchiladas, chicken flautas, a seasoned ground sirloin crispy taco, guacamole, and homemade tostada chips dipped in chile con queso. • 2/3/24The chicken enchilada with tomatillo sauce had little chicken. I tore off more shell than anything, very little sauce which resulted in a dry enchilada. Overall I was very disappointed in the food. The rice was decent flavored but overcooked. I will NOT be reordering from here. Also, the salsa tomatoes was mushy, not a salsa texture more like picco with overripe tomatoes.

• 27/3/23The food was very well seasoned -a pleasant surprise. I mean everything - the cheese/cream sauce, the tacos, the rice and beans, and even the tortilla chips. This will probably become my go-to for Mexican food.

• 25/1/24The Salsa Fresca was yummy and fresh. The Queso was good. The Chicka-Chicka Boom-Boom Enchiladas left a bit to be desired. The corn enchiladas were thick and chewy and the there was not enough chicken or cheese inside. The boom-boom sauce wasnt my cup of tea. The Steak Burrito was similar, good but not great. The refried beans were fresh and tasty and the mexican rice was good too.

• 19/6/25We love Chuy's and their food is outstanding. The Chuychanga, the Soft Tacos and the Queso compuesto (with beef and pico) are all excellent! Lately ws have had multiple orders where items were forgotten (sides, a la À La Carte Taco) but they got it 100% right this time and is the service we expect the restaurant we know and love!
