• 4/12/24The food was good! The Lunch Tikka Masala Bowl was perfect. I also ordered Garlic & Basil Naan. It was delicious. I don't eat a whole lot at once, and it was enough to make 2 meals for me.

• 4/3/26I have been trying all of the Indian restaurants in downtown Austin and this is my favorite so far. The Jeera Saag with Paneer is great if you are craving Palak Paneer. The Mint-Tamarind Chutney Small (V) is absolutely amazing flavor.

• 16/11/25the standard for a doordash order is unmatched with clay pit. the paneer vindaloo was coupled with rice that came with high quality spices all around! vindaloo at their "medium" spice level was probably similar to a 2/10, like takis, so next time i'll try hot! the portion size was great and it was filling enough for me to have two separate servings. thank you clay pit! i will be ordering again.

• 8/8/26This was the very first Indian restaurant I tried in when I moved to Austin 20 years ago. It has remained consistently the best Indian food in Austin. The quality is the same as it was 20 years ago. I've tried so many different Indian restaurants in town and, while there are some really good ones, nothing has ever come close to Clay Pit for me. It takes the flavor and the quality up several notches from the rest. Customer for life!
