I fell in love with this place during the start of the pandemic, especially the porcion garnachas and the enchiladas guatemaltecas! everything is packed with flavor and very filling, excellent value for the price too

I was craving pupusas one day and decided to try Cuna Del Sol—and I’m so glad I did! I ordered one cheese Pupusas (my usual go-to) and one pork and cheese to try something different, along with the Taquito de Banano. When I tell you they were AMAZING, I’m not even giving them enough praise. The pupusas were full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and paired so well with the cabbage slaw and sauce. Everything tasted fresh and authentic.
And the Taquito de Banano (fried cheesecake with vanilla ice cream)? Absolutely to die for. It was the perfect balance of crispy and creamy. Everything was so good that I ended up ordering from here two more times just last week 😂. If you’re thinking about trying Cuna Del Sol—do it. You won’t be disappointed!

The food from here is ALWAYS spot on, I get one of each of the Tacos al Carbón, the steak is seasoned perfect and always comes hot. The chicken is tender and the pork is always juicy. Its a huge portion for the price. And I come here everytime I am craving delicious and spot on authentic tacos. For the best tacos and the sweetest Horchata, this should be the go to.

Yuca con Chicharrón was so flavorful, the Camarones en Crema was literally the best thing i've had in awhile (though one more butterfly shrimp would've been nice since they gave a lot of vegetables!) the Ensalada de Fruta was so fun to drink!! i didn't realize it wasn't just a normal fruit salad (my mistake) but i loved it regardless!! would def recommend for kids as well <3 the Taquito de Banano was really good, came with ice cream :3 i thought it was a bit sweet but my mom really like it! it reminded me of a Xango (deep fried cheesecake)! anyways 10/10 would eat again

Quisiera compartir mi experiencia del día de ayer por la noche en La Cuna del Sol. Pasé a comprar un plato de comida para llevar y, a pesar de no haber otros clientes por atender en ese momento, la espera fue de más de 20 minutos.
Al recibir el plato, lamentablemente la comida se encontraba en mal estado, quemada y no apta para el consumo.
Más allá de la comida, me gustaría expresar mi inconformidad con el servicio recibido. Como comensales, valoramos mucho cuando se nos atiende con cuidado y empatía, ya que somos nosotros quienes con nuestra visita apoyamos el trabajo del restaurante.
Escribo esto no solo para quejarme del mal servicio recibido, sino con la intención de que puedan mejorar. Creo que como clientes merecemos recibir una comida preparada con dedicación, y que el personal de cocina debería tener un poco más de empatía hacia quienes confiamos en ustedes y gracias a quienes el restaurante sigue adelante.
Espero que puedan tomarlo como una crítica constructiva para mejorar. Gracias.
