Catfish King is hands-down the best catfish in Waco. I have tried several places and always come back to this place. Every order is fresh and hot upon arrival. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside - perfection. And no fishy taste! Just deliciousness. Try it Cajun style!!

A longtime favorite, David Beard's Catfish King never disappoints. We shared a Super Catch, a great alternative to burgers, plenty to share. Thanks to the driver being on time, everything was warm and fresh. I'm addicted to the green tomato relish, so we got the big container!

I'm telling you this place is underrated. The food is actually well cooked and the portions are plentiful for what you're paying. As for the coleslaw it's actually FRESH. You haven't experienced Waco if you haven't had David Beard's Catfish King. I know I will be experiencing it again.

This is the very best fish I have ever eaten. it was late and soft and just melts in your mouth with a beautiful flavor. You won't find it anywhere else is good. Their puppies are amazing and oh gosh don't get me talking about their peach cobbler. It is top of the world good!

The food was spectacular catfish was on point hot and fresh. tons of hot French Fries great Pinto BeansCheese Sticks (5) were hot Onion Rings were a lil greasy but dpot on other wise. Highly recommend
