Desserts by Clement added a whole new experience for my husband and I. It was our anniversary this weekend and we thought we should explore San Diego since we live in Fallbrook. I saw Desserts by Clement and I knew we had to try it. The taste is delicious and they look just like fruits! We were totally mind blown. You can taste Chef Clements passion for baking in each bite. Every single pastry is sketched to look just like a fruit and taste like it too. I def recommend this place if you are looking for something fun, unique and sweet.

The mushroom tipped over while being transported however the total for The Blueberry, The Mango and The Mushroom with tip came out to $54. That is pretty steep and unfortunately I they were ALOT smaller than I expected :(. Based on photos and videos, I expected them to be pretty big and they were not. The mango was very good. The blueberry was mid and was just a blueberry filling with some cream filling and the shell (also smaller than the palm of my hand). The mushroom was good too and the biggest one and priced at $17. I didn't include the photo because did tip over. This was definitely a splurge so I expected them to be over the top and in my opinion they were OK. My biggest gripe was honestly the price point in comparison to the size of the dessert. You are better off ordering the sample box to justify the price. I am grateful to have tried them but unfortunately would not spend the money again.

I thoroughly enjoyed every single thing I purchased. The BlackBerry was phenomenal. The flavors work together so well. The crème brûlée is absolutely delicious.

The Mango Cheesecake is FANTASTIC! The blueberry doesn't taste like blueberry, it looks better than it tastes. EAT UP!
