Country Fried Steak was awful. Lima beans had so much pepper not edible. Mash potatoes were load with garlic and too salty. White gravy had no flavor, awful.$29 wasted. I'm sorry it was just bad. Maybe they were just having an off day.

My Beet and Goat Cheese Salad was delicious! Large selection of greens, topped with beets, goat cheese, cranberries, walnuts and a very tasty balsamic dressing. The Fried Green Tomatoes were crispy and cooked to perfection, and I really enjoyed the dressing that came with it.

A fantastic old neighborhood place that has faced the test of time and wild gentrification. The Country Fried Steak and collard greens are peerless. If you're a recent transplant, be sure to pay respects to your new home and try some of the best Southern food in the city. Bar's great too.

The chicken fried steak was delicious, but the portion size for the gravy was a little small. If I'm eating chicken fried steak, I want to drown that cut in gravy. The little sauce-sized serving dish was not enough. Otherwise everything else was amazing and hit the spot!!
