While I cannot speak to its authenticity, I enjoy the brisket’s scent of the Wood & Herb goodness when eating the Wood & Herb Smoked Brisket Pho.
The Bun Bo Hue (spicy, lemongrass, beef broth) was also really flavorful. The noodles were softer and curlier than pho but I enjoyed the texture more than I thought I would.
The broth is quite flavorful by itself before adding the various condiments provided. I prefer to nuke the soup after delivery because I'm snobbish about the soup temperature - I like it at a certain hot temperature for maximum enjoyment.
The Non-Glazed Taro Fries are also just fine and a nice change from regular potato fries. They also function as a snack for the little one.
The second photo include two bowls with only half the given portions. The portion sizes are decent for us so we will enjoy the other half later, though if we ate at the restaurant, we would probably feel a little more inclined to eat more of it in one sitting.
We enjoyed this more than any we have tried in Elmhurst. We will eat from here again.

Wood & Herb Smoked Brisket Pho was too over powering, does not come with tripe or tendon for the $18 price, and altogether was a let down.
3 Crispy Spring Rolls for $9 is a rip off, also didn't taste any good either.
And $5 for a couple more slices of brisket to get an appropriate serving of meat is just another nail in the coffin.

Wood and herb brisket tasted very different from standard pho. I'm used to dipping raw meat in warm broth for the instant cook but this was a different experience. You can taste the wood before and after which was surprisingly one of the best pho flavors I have experienced.
I actually had a Food Wars reaction where I imagined myself in the Redwood forest while eating. The bold wood brisket flavor, the light savory broth, and the soft bland noodles were the perfect crescendo of flavor. The jalapeño kicked hard. I normally eat spicy food so I can handle dumping all of them in. But for all you no spice people, try one before you dump them all in.
For the first time, I never used any sauce in pho. The fresh ingredients allowed me to taste each one separately, which is a mark of quality. If you are a pho lover, I would put this on the checklist of best pho in NY.

I usually find the Pho to be good quality for the price but this time there was only one small piece of round steak in my Round Steak & Angus Brisket Pho. Unfortunately they also very poorly packed my Lemongrass-Chili Oil Dumplings and the oil leaked all over the bag leaving none to eat with my dumplings.

Food arrived quick, well packed, secure and hot! Pho is usually pretty good but felt the brisket was too smoked, where it overpowered the overall pho flavor... will most likely order again, anyways and have always enjoyed their Pho Ga
