I'm a Dunkin loyalist, unfortunately, lol. This store is a generally good one with really kind employees, for some reason it's just more questionable thru DoorDash. Being car-less at the moment, I've never been saltier that DD hasn't implemented their own delivery service. IMO issues are not usually due to the dashers, but rather inconsistent custom drink outcomes and odd order packing. I don't see the same in person. My drinks are often unpredictably sweetened, with "x same pumps" producing different levels day-to-day.
Re: packing: yesterday I got 3 of our go-to drinks and upon opening the bag, found one tipped over into the empty drink holder, the fall bursting the cover...Barbie-sized coffee lazy river/sticky mess was the result. No fun and Ofc DoorDash didn't issue a refund, bc why would they have any customer service. To be perfectly fair, the bag was 100% store-sealed across the top and is thick plastic--tbh the possibility that it was me who spilled is just as likely vs the dasher or even store itself, but I didn't know the risk. I had an inkling something was wrong when I picked the bag up from the porch, but who knows. I definitely don't think this was malicious or even negligent and I'm only mentioning because that's the only real type of complaint I have... weird packing choices. Like I've had a sandwich placed underneath a cold cup in the past, still an edible 5/10 but didn't super enjoy the soggy, lol. Yesterday's issue could've been mitigated by putting an upside down cup in the open holder.
But it is what it is..:I'll order again like I always do haha. DoorDash macchiato price is very good esp when the store runs BOGO or 30% off--excellent value.
