• 8/7/26The Square Meal is great tasting with the Italian job and the club sub! the sandwiches were stuffed with flavorful meat and bean sprouts. I wish that could chose no tomato with the salads. I also liked that the delivery bag is sealed with tape for safety. I just don't like the way that Door Dash charged me for the salads as they were include in the square meal deal!

3-10-24: Okay so I decided to give Erik’s Deli Cafe another try. I’ve been ordering from Mr Pickle’s {38 times} since 1-17-24 when I discovered them. The last order here on 2-20-24 I received a spoiled potato salad so I quit ordering any further. The quality and FRESHNESS of the food at Mr Pickle’s is outstanding, I’m hoping for the same at Erik’s Deli Cafe. Prices here are slightly higher than at Mr Pickle’s {see attached list}. There is No DISCOUNT OFFER like Mr Pickles where they give you 20% off of your order if over $15.00
Today I decided to try the Sweet Liberty {Turkey, Swiss,Red Bell pepper, Onion, Tomato, Clover Sprouts, and Erik’s sweet hot mustard} on 9 grain bread {Unfortunately they did give you an option to choose your type of Bread}, adding Mayonnaise and Mushrooms {$13.49}, I also ordered Bowl of Butternut Squash soup {$8.99},
Bag of Chips {$2.49}, and a Can of Coke {$2.59}
Sub Total {$27.56}, Delivery Fee {$0.00},Fee & Estimated Tax {$4.58}, Total {$32.14}, Tip {$3.00} Grand Total $35.14
Sweet Liberty: Turkey Sandwich with Swiss Cheese on 9 grain bread {you aren’t given an option for choice of bread} The bread is nice and soft and fresh and all the ingredients are pretty good, Turkey is nice and thick cuts of sliced turkey.The one ingredient that really makes this sandwich is the Red Bell peppers, adds nice flavoring to the sandwich
Butternut a Squash Soup {Bowl}: Comes in a good size paper bowl. The soup is flavorful and comes with crackers and a small soft roll.
*Overall review of Erik’s Deli Cafe is the quality of the sandwich is good.Both of these establishments are close in proximity to each other so I can pretty much choose which establishment I want to order from {Quality and Freshness of product, and Presentation are the key factors to determine if I re order over and over again}

• 23/2/242-20-24: Decided to order from a different sandwich spot other than my usual place (Mr Pickles). I decided on Erik’s Deli Cafe which is close proximity to Mr Pickles. They are different in some ways but similar in other ways. Just like Mr Pickles, Erik’s Deli Cafe also offers a 20% discount on their order. Today I ordered the Square Meal combo which comes with a full sandwich and a cup of soup. In addition I ordered the Potato Salad, Bag of chips, and can of Coke. Total with a $5.00 discount was $37.14 definitely higher price than Mr Pickles
The Pilgrim: Appearance looks good and prepared with care and not sloppily made. Ingredients were portioned just right not too much and not stingy with ingredients. The bread was swirl rye bread and it was nice and soft and fresh, held up and wasn’t soggy even with all the ingredients placed on it. Taste was very good and would definitely order this particular sandwich again.
Potato Salad: Cost wise it’s a lot more than Mr Pickles and it’s smaller in size {$6.99 vs $3.49} and THE SANDWICH SPOT offers a 1 pint potato salad for only $4.49. The potato salad has nice cut up pieces of potato BUT IT WAS SPOILED! Didn’t eat just tossed in GARBAGE! This was for a regular size as they also offer a Large Size for a few dollars more.

The Sandwich Spot: $4.49 1 Pint
Cup of chicken rice soup: Soup was warm upon receiving it with nice pieces of diced up chicken and rice. Flavored okay. Container same size cup of Potato Salad
The sandwich was good , but I will try a third sandwich location that is near by The Sandwich Spot, POTATO SALAD WAS TERRIBLE IT WAS SPOILED!
Erik’s Deli and Mr Pickles and The Sandwich Spot are all located almost next to each other in the same area. I’ve tried Mr Pickles and now Erik’s deli cafe and have left my reviews on each under the store names on Door Dash
Overall review of Erik’s Deli Cafe is good sandwich, quality needs some looking at as I received a spoiled order of Potato salad, the price is slightly HIGHER than ordering similar products at MR PICKLES..
