Absolute Perfection. Every time!! I just wish they were open prior to 4 during the week because we "substitute" another restaurant most of the time who not only is stingy for what we pay, but not nearly as good as Felipe's! <3

The Order of Beans and Order of Rice was very tasty and the Flour Chips went very well with them. The Mexican Combination Plate 2 was just ok. Taco was soggy and fell apart and had no flavor. Same with the tostada. The enchilada was cold so the cheese was solid. The pork in the burrito was tasty. The portion sizes are very generous.

I love Felipe's Mexican Combo platters (this time I got the Mexican Combination Plate 1)—they're very generous with their portions and it's all delicious. Definitely worth the price. :]
The pork burrito is a tiny bit dry, but they give you a bag of chips with two portions of salsa—one mild and one hot—so you can drizzle a little salsa on the burrito if you want.
Also, I just tried their Chimichanga Cheesecake and ohhhhh my gosh I wish more places offered this. It's SO good. Highly recommend if you like both cheesecake and caramel. :D (I included pictures since I don't think there were any for this item yet—at least not on the DD menu.)
They're also very timely making the food, which I appreciate (then again, I tend to order after meal rush hours have passed haha).
Shame I only discovered this place so recently—I'm going to miss it when I move. 😔

The meat in the tacos was gritty with small pieces of bones. Didnt eat. Arrived soggy. Jumbo Burrito
Was flat like a pancake and had very little pork. Flav was good but for $14 should have received beans and rice.

Felipe's is always spectacular in the restaurant. The DD options used to be pretty weak. This time because their rating has risen, we tried again and it was EXCELLENT! Next best thing to bring in one of their restaurants. I sure hope they keep the consistency up. Thank you!
