• 15/4/26This spread tells a story—one that starts strong and almost sticks the landing.
The fried okra is the clear standout. Golden, crisp, and evenly battered, it looks like it actually held its crunch. The light drizzle of sauce adds just enough shine without drowning it, and you can see the texture still coming through. That’s how okra should be done—no sogginess, no grease overload. Easily the star of the plate.
Now, the chicken… flavor-wise, it looks promising—especially with that visible dusting of lemon pepper. The seasoning seems generous and well distributed, giving it that craveable, tangy kick. But structurally? It took a hit. Dropping hot fried chicken straight into a styrofoam container trapped steam, and you can see the coating starting to soften and sweat. That crisp you worked for deserved a proper rest—either on a rack or at least vented—before being boxed up. It’s the difference between crunchy and just… coated.
And then the fries—they look decent, lightly golden, but they feel like an afterthought. Seeing that lemon pepper on the chicken makes you wish the fries got the same treatment. A little of that seasoning would’ve tied the whole plate together and elevated them from basic to addictive.
Overall?
Strong execution on the okra, solid seasoning instincts, but a few handling missteps kept this from being a top-tier plate. Let it breathe, share that seasoning love, and this easily levels up.

• 29/4/23Overall it was ok. The fish and fries is what I would stick to. The " mac cheese " is NOT worth $6.99 its extremely bland and small portion for $7.00. Its literally noodles and fake cheese melt. Dont do it. Also the Funnel Fries does not display the amount you are to receive. I was shocked when I opened my container and found 8…yes 8 single fries for $6.00. You can get more and better tasting funnel fry at Rally's for less. The Catfish Fillets and Hush Puppies were perfection.

• 10/4/23The fish was good, the fries were breaded, they included good tatar and even hotsauce.
But the real bonus was they know the old trick that a slice of bread tossed in with a fried to go order will keep it crispy. I wish more places would remember this.

• 1/5/26I ordered Spaghetti with meat, the noodles were undercooked, barely any sauce, and I'm still looking for the meat. I also ordered a 12 Piece Dinner the chicken was ok/ good and the fries were good
