I moved here from Philly so it seemed good to order a cheesteak restaurant bearing the name. I have had better cheesesteaks from Trenton. Roll was soggy and very little meat was used. I can't believe this place was so highly rated. None of these people who rated ever had a decent Philly cheesesteak. Roman Cochina has a better cheesesteak and they call it something completely different.

Hands down best Philly in town! The #15 Broadstreet Cheesesteak (10') was mind-blowing. Fred should be charging way more for his delicious sandwiches. lol

The cheesesteak is really good. Tender meat, great bun and the cheese blends in perfectly. Cajun fries and the chips are well crafted.

Not about the food, which was fine. I saw the confirmed order on the app and waited for my food. Apparently, more than 10 mins later, Doordash emailed me to say Fred's was out of stock of hamburgers (one of 2 entrees ordered) and I would be reimbursed. I didn't see the email - not sure of the point of the app in situations like this - but more importantly, I've never had a restaurant not reach out when they need to change an order. Fred's just processed the rest of the order saying I hadn't selected substitutions. So I ended up paying $40 for a cheesesteak, fries, and mozzarella sticks after fees and tip. ...and the reimbursement doesn't show up for 5-7 business days, when I could have just selected another option and fed my guest.

In the mood for a #15 Broadstreet Cheesesteak (10') or the extra #4 Extra Meat Philly Cheesesteak (10') with more cheese? We tried both but bread was stale. Filling was great but sad chewy taste for the roll.
