Sweet and Sour Chicken was wonderful. it came steaming hot, tasting fresh and so full of flavor. it was te perfect portion & simply delicious. the sweet & sour sauce was perfect, especially with the bell peppers & onions. i love bell peppers. this was my first time ordering here, and i wil again. Thanks Golden Star, you made my day much better. iwill be a returning customer.

SP29. Grilled Halibut Fillet and Stir-Fried Vegetables was the best I've had...added veggies were OUTSTANDING (broc. and snow peas). BBQ Pork and Seed (Small) were a little different than expected, smaller pieces.

Golden Star is a MUST if you're craving Asian. They always taste amazing and jave generous portions. The Sp( General chicken and house chow mein) is always so, so tasty with just the r8ght amount of spice, and Sp(Press Almond Chicken and Pork Fried Rice) is perfect. The Lemon Chicken is also a top favorite with a spicy side to counteract the sweetness.

The grilled halibut fillet, is not a filet (five small pieces) would have been better with less coating. The vegetables were mostly celery, carrot, onion, and a tiny bit of Chinese peas that were thinly sliced (???). I assumed that it would come with rice, my inattention to the menu. If I order this again I will need to call the restaurant. The almond cookies were OK.

The Sweet and Sour Chicken and the Mandarin Chicken were fantastic. The portions were huge. I would definitely order either one of them again. The Crab Rangoon (6 Pieces) was the best part however. They were extremely flavorful and very delicious. I have been looking for a new regular Chinese restaurant, and this one will be my new go to.
