We love Indianapolis, and we had to bring a second location to the Broad Ripple Suburb. Located on Broad Ripple Avenue near the White River, Goodfellas Broad Ripple is an Indianapolis Staple.
My favorite place in town, and they finally deliver. The Wiseguy is my favorite. A true veggie classic! Yummy. Don't forget the habanero ranch to kick it up a notch or 2.

This was a pretty disappointing experience. As a NYer, it's hard to find decent pizza here. This pizza had the potential to be really good. The flavor was good, and the outer part of the crust was good -- the real deal, if you will. However, most of the crust was soggy and wet all the way through. The cheese slid off some slices, and the crust couldn't support the cheese when it didn't slide off. I don't know if it was the grease or if the ricotta wasn't drained properly but I've never seen anything like it. In contrast to the soggy pizza crust, the breadstick crust was thick, hard to top a piece off, and even harder to chew. It was clearly over-baked, and also suffered from the packaging -- it would've faired better in a baguette bag. The seasoning was good, as was the garlic butter (none of that prepacked garbage you usually get). Now, to the dessert, and the reason I stumbled across this place. I was looking for cannoli. I was apprehensive, seeing it prepacked in plastic wrap. Everyone knows cannolis are supposed to be freshly filled when you order them. The sticker had a date of today, which I assume meant it was made today since the shell was actually crunchy, which surprised me. The chocolate chips they use are good. But the filling was blah. Bland and watery, like it was the fat free ricotta and they forgot to add the sugar -- and there definitely was no flavor (a hint of cinnamon is my preference). Not worth the calories. The black and whites were also packed in shrink wrap, and dated with yesterday and the day before's dates. I really think they should add what the date means since usually that's the last serve date at most places but the previously mentioned crunchy cannoli shell leads me to believe it's the "made on" date. Anyway, no bakery in NY has their B&Ws in shrink wrap (and Italian restaurants don't serve them in the first place) -- that's what bodegas do. This B&W would've been one-upped by a bodega one though. This had no flavor in the cookie part and it was dry. The chocolate icing was soft and fudgy when it's supposed to be hard like the vanilla icing (albeit just a tad softer). The taste to both icings was very strange. The only dessert that was good was the cheesecake. I liked the cinnamon sugar topping as well. In fact, the cheesecake was the only item without issue. I doubt I'll be back.

this is the second time, out of the past 3 times, we have ordered where everything tastes like cleaner. Also, just very poorly put together. Cheese was basically only put on one side. On a positive note, the 20 oz bottle of coke was as expected.
Also, the Breadstick - D2D is just one long piece of rolled dough that is folded enough to fit in the box.

I got a calzone. It arrived still hot, and the quality of the cheeses and veggies were amazing. The entire thing was coated in some kind of amazing garlic butter. I would go here just for the garlic butter they use on the Calzone Really excited to add this to the rotation.

We do think their quality has gone downhill. Ordered a simple pep/mushroom pizza. The crust was awful. Flimsy and undercooked. And the sauce is sweet and underwhelming. The pizza as a whole was undercooked. Think we will take a break from Goodfellas. They really need to add an option or 2 for example...light sauce and well done.
