Hamir's is, by far, the best Indian restaurant in York. And, in my experience, the best in the entire area. I'm not a huge fan of spicy food, so I always ask for a spice level of zero. But my kids and husband love the heat! We can all agree that Hamir's is one of our favorite restaurants in York!
I love the Papdi Chat and Crab Puri as appetizers. So flavorful! And my kids always enjoy the fries.
As a main course, their Coconut Curry Paneer is the best curry, in my opinion. But my family enjoys the Butter Chicken and Tikka Masala. I highly recommend Hamir's for excellent Indian food!

The food was terrible. The Creamy Butter Sauce was curdled and separated. The Tandoori Chicken was dry, overcooked, and woody. The Gulab Jamun With Ice Cream were two miniscule balls for $10. This place has really gone downhill. The only semi-decent food was the Samosas , but even those aren't as good as they used to be.

Pretty bad Indain food. Butter sauce was curdled. Samosa was soooooo greasy. I was disappointed at the small portions until I tasted everything.... Then it seemed like too much. Really pretty terrible.

We love Hamir's always satisfied. Crab Puri is phenomenal. Fish Tacos were a first for us. They were also phenomenal. We have always had great food there. We are hooked.

I called first to see if the butter chicken was gluten free and it is. I just added to my special instructions to make gluten free so the naan wasn't included. I was pleasantly surprised. This is the best butter chicken I have ever had. Thank you for the wonderful food!!!
