The food amazing, as always. Packed with care. I would not order from any other sushi restaurant. This is definitely the best in the area.

Very good quality but a little too pricey, the sushi was perfect and the dumplings were magnificent but the plate was lacking, very generic and way too expensive for the taste.

Fried Chocolate Cheese Cake was regular cheesecake with that chocolate syrup on it. Ew ew ew. And the Hibachi Steak I asked for medium rare cuz every time I order medium it's tough and dry. It was still incredibly dry. Yall know there's more than one temp for cooking meat right? It's alot of rice, an average amount of veggies (onions, zucchini, mushrooms) I'd say 5/10. Meat would've knocked it to a 10. The fried pork dumplings were the best part of the meal, crunchy, warm, had a good sauce with it, wish more came with the meal. Personally I wouldn't order again. It was fresh when it got here, and hot.

Chicken was good veggies were good. Rice was super dry. Shrimp Tempura Roll was good but 4 pieces pieces of sushi for 10$ is a little ridiculous. Food for 2 people (and I picked it up)was 46$. It was not 46$ good, and the portions were so incredibly small.

After years of wonderful food, we had a few bad experiences at Hunami...and when they raised their prices during C19...and became almost as expensive as Wasabi Fusion, (who had better food), we stopped going and gave our $65 Friday meal to Wasabi.
This evening, I found myself craving some Asian and was in the area, so I decided to give Hunami another try...and boy am I glad I did!! Not only was the service great, the food was absolutely delicious!! The flavor was spot on and the portions were huge. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was great even after I was late picking it up by almost 30 minutes!
It appears they've gone up in price again (hasn't everyone ?) but where Wasabi has cut down on their portions and has gone down in their quality, Hunami has stepped up their game and is still serving that large plate that can easily feed two!!
I'm so glad fate landed me there tonight and I'll definitely be going back! THIS is the Hunami we first fell in love with!!
