everything I ordered was great and very fresh. always happy to support vegan or 90% vegan restaurants when traveling, makes life so much easier not having to call and check ingredients. Try the Taro Root Pudding -- small portion but so filling and Carrot Cake , both excellent! The side of Small side of Pickled Vegetables were very tasty (better than I have had elsewhere with no off smells, just totally fresh) and crunchy and the Singapore Noodles were good but could use a tad bit more salt (not a problem)

New into town and didn't want something heavy. This popped up and I'm glad it did! All of the food is pretty good!
The Fresh Spring Rolls (2) with Peanut Sauce are packed just right - a good balance of soft rice noodles with tofu and other light veggies. The peanut sauce is a little odd, not really thick like other places, but the flavors come through.
The Pan Fried Pot Stickers were not my favorite, but I'd probably still order them again. Here's why: I like my pot stickers filled with the thing I'm after. These were almost all dough, then light tofu filling. At first I was disappointed and then I realized, I really, really like their doughy wrappers. Thick and chewy, but not overly so. Just right. And the sweet/spicy sauce was great.
The Wonton Soup Small was filled with flavorful goodness.
A lot of times restaurants will make their menus run in narrow flavor profiles, so much so that everything tastes the same. Not here! Heart and Soy makes every dish stand out with its own unique flavor! Great food.
And the dessert - I had the Lemon Bar - Gluten Free. Sometimes you just need something sweet with a twang of sour in it. This is just right. And the texture is just right, too.
I have only good things to say about this place. I'm glad I found it and will order again from here the next time I'm back in town.

Don't waste your money. It's easily the worst pad Thai I've had and it was $16. It lacked flavor, but this biggest problem is the lack of typical ingredients. It was mostly cabbage, carrots and shredded lettuce (more than noodles), no bean sprouts, soggy broccoli, ZERO egg and the tofu was okay. Every bite was really CRUNCHY--I had to dig out the noodles. It was terrible and it's going in the garbage. The photo looks like noodles but they are strips of lettuce and cabbage.

Always a delight ordering from Heart & Soy! They add plenty of the protein selection (in my case, tofu) and my Vietnamese Rice Noodle Salad w/ Tofu & Egg Roll always looks as aesthetically pleasing as it tastes. One of the best vegetarian/vegan places to eat at in Louisville as a non-vegan/vegetarian!

After seeing Heart & Soy recommended several times in vegetarian/vegan groups I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Vegetable Fried Rice and Fresh Spring Rolls (2) with Peanut Sauce for dinner. Both dishes were delicious! The spring rolls are the best I've ever had, and the peanut sauce was perfect. The portions were quite large for the price as well. I will 100% be eating here again!
