Side of Macaroni Salad was very tasty and more complex than most Hawaiian places. Roasted Brussel Sprouts were very good, large portion and sweet. Would even be great for Thanksgiving. Spam Fries are the bomb. Such great bar food with three sauces. I even got the can! They were out of Ube Bars (2pcs) , but they substituted a VERY small frozen Cashew & Pandan cookie which was very delicious, but again , very small. I appreciated the orchid garnish.

Ok the vegan / Impossible Sisig was shockingly good, dare I say better than the real version. I'm not vegan but try to go for vegan options often and wow this was blew me away. The vegan egg was also so good and had a good texture. I might like this version better than the pork / real egg

The chicken and waffles were good.
The pancakes were just okay. It was $17 for 3 pieces. Totally not worth it. It came with 1 piece of very sour strawberry. I also tried the spam musubi- it was not good at all. The one from Ono Hawaiian was much better and cheaper too.

Ube pancake was way too overpowering. I came with 3 pieces but only ate half of one. It's too much ube and the texture was kind of weird.. won't order again.

You can never go wrong with any of the dishes at Hula Hoops. The only problem you may encounter is you'll want more. I love their Hawaiian Filipino twist to their menu from their ube and lilikoi pancakes, to their spam fries, silog dishes and kamayan trays. Aloha.
