Irashai is the best bang for your buck sushi in Boston, hands down. Fish was very high-quality, too!

Agedashi Tofu is phenomenal! Sushi is great value. Miso Soup is good flavor but really salty also theres a hole in the top of the container so it kinda leaked a bit in the bag. Would order again for the price!

The veggie tempura was quite good, but the sushi was not what I'd hoped, especially for the price. The ikura was good but nearly double the price of other restaurants in the area, and not better quality. The salmon was decent but unremarkable. The low point, however, was the monster maki, which was topped with chopped up pieces of imitation crab sticks mixed with something resembling the coating on frozen fish sticks. They advertised it as king crab on top, and fake crab on a $25 roll is ridiculous. The lobster inside was real, but I could barely even taste it over the flavor of the mess on top. I took some lobster out to try on its own, and it was pretty flavorless. Probably frozen.
I also got a piece of clam sushi, which I'd never tried before, since their nigiri is one piece rather than two. Since I'd never tried it before, I have no idea how it's supposed to be, and didn't take it into account in my rating, but I couldn't eat it. I don't mean it didn't taste good, I mean I physically couldn't bite or chew it. I tried both ends of both pieces of clam, and it was simply too tough for me to eat, as a healthy adult in my 30s with no dental problems.
Overall, the sushi wasn't bad, but it's both a step up in price and down in quality from the other sushi places I've tried in the area.

My favorite spot for takeout sushi! Actually ordered over 6+ times. Love the salmon sake complete. Portions are filling
