I don't have any photos because we ate it too fast before I realized i loved it so much I wanted to take photos. We INHALED this meal. The brisket was moist and fatty, the pulled pork was smoky and flavorful. We forgot to use the BBQ sauce. Totally forgot it existed. The collards were amazing. Salty, umami, rich, and delightful. I've left the best two for last.
The Mac and cheese was unreal. The sounds we made shouldnt be allowed on public tv. It had a slight kick and was the perfect consistency. We regret not ordering the quart. If you're on the fence? Order the quart.
The beans. Here's the thing: I hate baked beans. I dont eat them. They're my partner's thing, not mine. I always say no to them. They're gross and too sweet and yuck... or so I thought. I DO like pinto beans. In a moment of experimentation, I said Yes when offered a forkful.
We argued over who got to finish them.

the ribs were dry and toughear the ends anddid not have mmuch meat on the bone. The potato salad was so sour, likely too much vinegar was added but not mmixedin well Rib Plate. This particular Jacks on Bel-Red road is consistently poor quality, unfortunately.

Mac and cheese was good.
Ribs were above average for delivery.
Brisket was dry and largely flavorless.
Links were tough and chewy.
I've ordered here before and overall decided the price is way too high vs comparable bbq joints.

Delicious. Flavors on point. Perfectly crispy. Delicious tartar sauce, lemony with the lemon wedge. Mac n cheese is flavorful which is is rare honestly. The greens were a tad bitter but still enjoyable. Lemonade is sweet and not watered down.
First time ordering will def be ordering again.

l liked the Sliced Brisket Plate brisket as it was very tender. It could be more flavorful. The cornbread and honeybutter is amazing. The bbq sauce was also plain and watery. I am usedto a bit more sweet and heat while Jacks is more like a hot sauce consistency. Baked beans were what I expected either. Kind of loose in a watery liquid lacking flavor. If I ordered again it would be brisket by the pound and the cornbread and my own bbq sauce. Got just two slices of the brisket. See photo for $28 dollars. Overpriced. Via DoorDash with tip $40 . Crazy.
