• 17/5/26There is never a bad time to go to Jalan Alor. We have been there with friends, got takeaway with family for every occasion, cosied up with jalan alor on rainy nights in... I have ordered the Hainan Chicken Rice and Char Keow Teow more times than I can count. It's the ultimate comfort and gives you everything you need for a great price. My mum worships this place, and she's a tough Malaysian to please.

• 21/2/25The char kway teow was absolutely delicious with great wok hei charring. However the Hainanese chicken rice felt a bit lacking, it would have been much better if it came with the chilli garlic sauce!
