The cheesecake was delicious, smooth and flavourful. That said, for the small portion you recieve, the price is near criminal.

I ordered the Heirloom Beet Salad, at $27 I thought it might be my meal but the portion was ludicrously small. It tasted fine, but the sight of it filling about 1/6 th of the take-away container was too depressing. It would not fill the smallest of salad bowls, 10 green leaves and 1/2 a small beet. I'll not be ordering anything from JLB in the future.

I ordered heirloom beet salad, it consisted of 10 leaves of greens and about 1/2 a beet.
It tasted OK but cost $27 and would not fill a a small salad bowl. Ludicrous portions for outrageous prices.

The mix of flavours and the orange slices with the smoked salmon didn't go together or highlight the salmon. Pretentious.
Very little food with each of these dishes — expensive and disappointing.
They used to be one of my favourite places to eat.
