I ordered the catfish and chicken they were so delicious. very flavorful. fried perfectly. and the color spoke of fresh grease I pigged out. I will always order from jjs the portions were hugh well worth the money jj thanks for opening here in stockton because there's not many restaurants that I can say all these things about

The catfish was perfectly seasoned and delicious! Sadly, the calamari despite being hot and ready was dry and flavorless. I would definitely order the catfish again because of the large portioning but not the calamari. 8/10

I ordered from JJ fish & chicken for the first time, I ordered the Catfish Fillet Catfish (Large) it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! 10/10 It came with a size meal amount and was fresh as well as hot. The fries were good as well. I was wanting some fish and this restaurant popped up wouldn't mind ordering again. :)

I have been frying and eating fish my whole life... and I will tell you one thing. What this place is selling as catfish isn't actually catfish! I'm not sure exactly what kind of fish it is but I'm guessing it's Swai or Basa... the inside is never flaky but mushy and overcooked. The seasoning is good but this isn't actual catfish. The portions vary... one day you might get a nice hearty plate of fish and then the next time a small plate... not very consistent with that. And they always forget the condiments even after you have requested them.

I had gotten the Sole Fish and oysters the only problem is the fries were not very hot but I don't blame them because nobody has found way of tranporting fries hot. The fish was fresh and big pieces. The oysters were substantial in size. Pleased with my order
