I've been trying to eat here for weeks, but they've been closed when I'm craving good southern soul food. Tonight I finally got to try some of their food. OMG!! DELICIOUS!! Fried chicken is so crispy & crunchy and seasoned very well!! The mac & cheese is FIRE!!! I will never eat chicken or Mac & cheese from a chain restaurant ever again!! Found my new go to restaurant when I don't feel like cooking!!!

Thanks for the silverware and dinner roll. This is the place to go if you want spicy food that'll clear your sinuses lol. Large Baked Spaghetti was spicy and has chunky meat sauce. It came in a smaller than expected container. The Veggie Plates with (3 Sides) were interesting. The Okra was good. So were the Yams. Lettuce is a bring your own dressing. The hushpuppies were good. Be sure and check your pinto beans closely bc they're cooked with meat on the bone it would appear, for extra fun and flavor.

We are always thrilled when JJ Mama's is available on door dash! The chicken is amazing, the Mac and Cheese is so creamy, the pintos are a hands down hit, and my husband has deemed the collard greens the best he has ever had. As a person who doesn't even like greens... I absolutely agree. They are so flavorful! This is always a hit in our household! Something for everyone!

I would rate 10 stars if I could! My pregnant gf orders from here and only here every time she uses DoorDash. She's always cautious about ensuring the meats are thoroughly cooked but here she does not have to do that! The food is always cooked and ALWAYS good, to the point she can take a good nap after it settles. If you ever have to wait, I guarantee it's WORTH THE WAIT and MONEY! This time she ordered the bbq Baked Chicken w/ or without Bar b que sauce (w/sauce) and greens and the baked max n cheese, it even comes with a type of bread, this time it was cornbread. Ever since the first time she ordered and they discovered her pregnancy, they have included sweet notes (i.e: congrats on your pregnancy mama, hope to see you when the baby is born, etc) and this time they gave her a care package of a pickle with some sauce, they are THE BEST. My gf is highly satisfied and so am I! She couldn't wait to dig in before she sent me a picture lol!

Okay, the chicken is DELICIOUS , the green beans and mac & cheese are not fom a box, and I've got no complaint about that either.
My only complaint, and it's not much of one, is that when given a 2.00 upcharge for white meat, I expect at least one piece to be a breast.
They may have tried to reach me about this, I apparently missed a call from DoorDash, but my phone did not recognize the number and if a message was left, I havent gotten it yet, which is actually not unusual.
Regardless, the food is exceptional. It was delivered hot, and even without the breast, three wings is plenty and I'm not going to be hungry tonight. Definitely a good choice .
