Had high expectations for this place, I've ordered twice and it doesn't give real Liberian food. The food seems rushed and not fully prepared! Fufu wasn't done, the okra had water still in it, palaver sauce had a burnt taste and I was sent two pieces of turkey in both the okra and palaver sauce I ordered. I add a photo of the okra sauce. Highly disappointed, was really excited to support!

There wasn't much food in the containers for the Mac and cheese or the yams. The yams were overcooked and tough. The Mac and cheese tasted ok but there wasn't much food given. Cassava leaf had a huge bone in the middle of the container so that took up most of the space. I won't be ordering from Joro again. I wanted to give them a chance, I usually order from Afrique Lounge but I wasn't happy with my order

They did some things well and some things very poor. The fried pepper chicken was fabulous! In addition the rice was cooked to perfection. However, it was different rice than shown in photos of menu. However, the steak on the kebabs was beyond overcooked and unseasoned. It was dry and cold and flavorless. Would not recommend. The palm butter stew is just chicken sitting in a bunch of oil. So much so it is inedible. The fried chicken and gravy was meh. Decent cornbread. Huge portion. Kinda dry. Should put butter on the side definitely try out the fried pepper chicken

I was craving some Jollof Rice Side and Pepper Fried Pepper Chicken and this did it!!! The Fried Plantain and Smoked Pepper Sauce was the perfect added touch and sweetness to the meal! Everything came fresh, hot and on time.
