Excited to try a new neighborhood Thai place. Clearly something special with unique entrees and fewer "standard" Thai dishes.
Pad Thai / ผัดไท was flavorful, not too sweet and good portion size.
Panang Curry / แกงพะแนง was unique, good flavor to the curry, they used pea eggplant instead of thicker eggplant, which is likely more authentic but meant the curry didn't have much in it beyond the protein and some small pea eggplants.
Som Tam Tod / ส้มตาทอด was interesting, imagine a blooming onion with fish sauce. Good but very oily, a lot of breading vs papaya.

i have had several dishes here that i quite enjoyed, but the Khao Na Neua / ข้าวหน้าเนื้อ was truly disappointing. The beef was very dry, in a way that rib eyes don't tend to be, and on top of that there was very little beef. For the price, this is unacceptable. It was bad.
