La Cava has unbelievably authentic Italian recipes that I, as someone who has been in Italy quite a few times and is a very big fan of the cuisine, think are absolutely delicious. The sauce for my Vongole pasta had a very rich flavor, the clams themselves were very tasty and, in general, It was just great.

To start, the food was over 30 minutes late. The size of the Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese Pasta was to feed a child and $15 for six mini Roasted Potatoes was a complete rip off.
Overal the food was below average and over priced.

The Della cava pizza was so salty I couldn't even eat it. The calamari was good. They gave me plenty of red sauce with it. Not overly greasy.
