Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in Sacramento.
The kebab tasted like it had been sitting around for a long time. The manty were dry, open, and completely lacked the juicy filling you would expect from freshly prepared manty. They also seemed old. The shorpa was average at best, around 3 out of 5. The doner meat also tasted like it wasn’t fresh. The only dish that was somewhat decent was the plov.
For a $195 order, I expected much better quality. Overall, I would rate the food around 3.5 out of 5, but considering the price and serious concerns about freshness, I’m giving this restaurant one star.
I’ve tried Russian and Central Asian cuisine at many restaurants, and unfortunately, this was the worst experience I’ve had in Sacramento.
I sincerely hope the restaurant takes food freshness, quality control, and proper food handling standards more seriously. Customers deserve fresh, properly prepared food, especially at these prices.
Definitely not worth $195.

Had this food a few times and will again. The different breads are really nicely done. In general, portions are ample and filling. The soups are packed quite poorly and not with the same care as other dishes, and they also weren't particularly flavorful. Overall ths is a good spot, large portions and the breads are outstanding.

Had the Dunar and it was phenomenal. Portion size was great for the price, ingredients and bread were fresh. I will definitely order from here again and might be my favorite go to!
