There are many Italian restaurants all over Albuquerque, however, none compares to Luigi's Restaurant and Pizzeria. We've been in Albuquerque for over 20 years. Our service and recipes are from the ol…
The entire menu is absolutely wonderful! One of the best is the Low Carb Low-Carb Chicken Napolitano entree with a Carrot Cake for dessert! Also the Italian Soda is superb, especially the cherry flavor!

weird size on the Cheese (Sicilian 16"x12") - why is it a rectangle??, no flavor to crust or cheese, paid for extra cheese and didn't get it, overpaid for tiny cup of extra Marinara Sauce , mediocre french fries

Oh my!!! The sausage and pepper sandwich sandwich is AMAZING!!!! I laughed when I saw it!! And it was delicious!! Let me tell you I've searched for your sauce! I like a bit of tang in sauce, raised that way lol. If it's bought keep using it! If you make it it needs to be in a jar w your name on it!!!! Oh my!!!! Thank you for all your work! I meant to tell you a long time ago. 😋😋😋😋🌷

Luigi's signature pizza was excellent, as always. For a small pizza it sure had some weight behind it. The tiramisu was decent after it had thawed out for an hour and a half. The calamari appetizer left much to be desired; not my favorite by any stretch. In my opinion the Caprese salad was more like a Caprese scampi, only with way too much garlic. The ocean of oily garlic completely drowned out any taste of basil, if there was any basil. Keep in mind I'm accustomed to eating my own home made Caprese salads in which I don't use any garlic whatsoever and only a very small amount of oil. I prefer to enjoy very large leaves of fresh basil in my Caprese salads. I also felt like the Calamari and Caprese were rather small portions , as was the tiramisu unfortunately. The side of ranch was good. I am still giving 4 out of 5 stars because I've tried many other items on the menu over the years and a vast majority of them are superbly satisfying. Sadly this particular experience was a let down. Luigi's is only partly at fault. I can say with the DoorDash fees and driver's tip on top of the bill, this meal simply was not worth the amount of money I spent on it.

Meat sauce had no meat. Sauce was thicker than usual like tomato pastey. The chicken parm was good but smaller portions for the price. $70.00 for two meals.
