Like that Kingdom Hearts song "simple and clean". Tastes good, tastes fresh, fills you up and doesn't make you feel bad about doing so. I got the pasta Mark Twain Pasta Salad (veg); Chipot Caesar Wraple; and the Roasted Garlic Hummus (veg); all really good. Everything tasted fresh and cispy with no odd bits.

So I ordered the create your own salad and kept it very simple Romain lettuce, avocado, cucumbers, tomatoes, feta I ended up with a bowl of Romain lettuce, three tiny pieces of avocado, four tiny cucumber, squares and way too much balsamic vinegar. I basically just paid $20 for some Romain lettuce. Never again

I ordered the build your own grain bowl and the Green Goddess pasta salad. The grain bowl had spinach, grilled chicken, avocado, tomato, red peppers, and creamy goat cheese with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It was very good and the grilled chicken was delicious. But, none of the ingredients were mixed together as they usually are, and the olive oil/balsamic vinegar came on the side instead of mixed in, as usual. Not sure if this is an overall change at Mad Greens or just a one-off, but I definitely prefer the ingredients mixed together at the store. The Green Goddess Pasta Salad was ordered in place of the Mark Twain Pasta Salad. The pasta salad is exactly the same but with Green Goddess dressing instead of red-wine vinegar, and it's not nearly as good as the Mark Twain. The pasta salad was drenched in the Green Goddess dressing - so much that it tasted like mayonnaise. Overall this pasta salad reminded me of the macaroni salad from the deli, usually found near the potato salad or coleslaw. It'd be awesome if there were options to build your own Mac'n Cheese and cold pasta bowls, I loved the Mark Twain pasta salad with the red wine vinegar; I will not order the Green Goddess pasta salad again. I'd also love to try the Mac'n Cheese with green chilies but no option to select or write it in.

Green chili was not consistent. Too many onions. Chicken tasted a little old. Portion was okay. This is not something I would eat again or recommend. I ate less than half and only because I was hungry and last thing I ate was early this morning breakfast. Food was bland too and no option to add mad spice.

This is supposed to be an Athena salad. There's a little bit of feta cheese, a cherry tomato cut in half, a couple pieces of chicken and a few kalamata olives. If you dig around you might find the red onion and cucumbers. My initial impression upon seeing this is that it's way overpriced for all the lettuce. Also, the description says chopped Romain lettuce. This is more of a mixture of Romain and iceberg lettuce. I requested utensils and didn't receive them. Their half Mac was pretty much bowtie pasta with shredded cheese on top, no real cheese sauce. Organic artichoke in the lemonade? Why? Why, when I ordered pomegranate lime iced tea, are the first ingredients listed hibiscus, green tea and lemongrass? Pomegranate and lime are the last ingredients listed. This was my first experience with Mad Greens and probably my last.
