Grilled Chicken was great with the sauteed onions but I was not expecting the mound of tostones which was an amazing touch because they were spot on!! Next time I'm in town, this will be my go to spot.

I tried the Res Guisada (Stew beef) a and when it first arrived it smelled and looked amazing. im skeptical about Dominican food and usually think I make it better but they got me beat. ts was fire, it came w rice and beans that were amazing, and the flavor and tenderness of the meat was delectable. the beef n cheese Empanadas were just okay in my opinion , not bad, not amazing though.

I guess I ordered a side of oil to go with my Mangú with the 4 golpe. The Mangu had no flavor and I've never seen a Dominican restaurant serve yellow onions instead of the red pickled ones with this dish either. I'm from NYC so this must be the CT version of this dish. It was edible enough to eat but I will never order this dish from this place again. The amount of oil really turned me off more than anything else. Good portion of food and oil though.

i got Camarones Al Ajillo 11 garlic shrimps for the order which was kinda amazing and theRes Guisada (Stew beef) was very good as well i wish i would have gotten the special rice but its okah.

THIS WAS SO GOOD. Like, wow. Simple, great texture, cooked to perfection and tons of flavor! Will definitely get again, highly recommend if you're a pernil lover!
