Hummus is consistently great. The lemonade? Was nagging, so refreshing with the perfect amount and type of mint and crumbly round cubes that kept it icy cold. I think I'll have to order it with my meal every time now.

Rice: full flavored. Chicken: perfectly charred. Lettuce: crisp. Pickled veggies: just right. Hot sauce: oh yeah. Pita: fresh. Chicken Kebob Plate : 100% best on the upper west side - would order again!

Love this place. I used to eat at Mamoun’s downtown nearly 18 years ago, but after moving to Westchester I hadn’t been back. Today I was in the Upper East Side, saw Mamoun’s nearby, and had it delivered to my car and it reminded me why I loved this place.
This isn’t your standard halal cart food. The flavors are authentic, rich, and exactly what I remember. Not the usual white sauce/hot sauce chicken over rice style. This is real, distinctive Middle Eastern flavor.
Still one of the best. Will definitely come back whenever I’m in the area.

The veggie curry came with a lot of veggie... but not enough curry.... it was basically like steamed veggies with some curry sauce coated

Absolutely loved everything about this Chicken Kebob Sandwich especially with the falafel and feta cheese added, feel like it would be even better with extra sauce or hummus added. But it's also perfect just the way it is, especially with grilled flavor from the chicken, completely devoured it before I could get a picture
