Bay Area natives Eiichi Mochizuki and Koji Kiura proudly serve authentic Hakata-style noodles at Marufuku Ramen. The first location opened in San Francisco back in 2017, and now leads a highly acclaim…
Still the best ramen I've ever had :) it's perfect. The corn adds a touch of sweetness to the savory. Flavored eggs are actually marinated, unlike other restaurants. The noodles are the best I've had.. they're not overly doughy. My body is super sensitive to overly processed food and I always feels great after this ramen. Highly recommend. Grateful for their hard work!

Regardless of it being higher priced, of all the choices we have for ramen around here this was the least flavorful. The karaage was dry and the serving size was small. The pork bao were ok but since the pork was chopped, the flavor impact was meh. The ramen broth was good, however the egg was definitely not seasoned. We felt like the value isn't there. I would recommend going to either kitikata, HiroNori or Ramen Mura over this restaurant and save alot of money and get better food and larger portions.

The ramen is a bit on the pricier side, but very delicious and a good portion size. The Tonkotsu broth is quality and the takoyaki is umami, sweet, and filled with a generous amount of octopus inside.

Everything was generally pretty delicious but my friend and I were sad that the Chashu Bowl had notably less meat than what was shown in the picture. Outside of that though, the Hakata Tonkotsu and the marufuku bites were great and I liked the flavor of the chashu in that.

Amazing ramen. My new favorite!! I love how the noodles don't taste as heavy as other places. They're on the thinner side and so delicious. 10/10
