Noodles are still chewy! Love this place! The Chicken Karaage (Online) was very brown, more so than at the restaurant, but I was more worried about the noodles being too soft and it's great! Seems like there's enough broth for me!

I am picky when it comes to Japanese restaurants, as I don't eat sushi or much seafood, really. So, Marugame was a pleasant surprise and their chicken katsu on rice and spicy chicken tempura is out of this world. It is a great comfort food for me. Love this place. Their indoor dining experience is also great and the staff are very courteous. I highly recommend this place to the non-seafood eaters. As for the seafood eaters, well I expect you will like it too.

I order from here when I am sick and feeling noodle soup. The soup is so light and tasty, the udon has the right amount of chewy texture, and the tempura pairs extremely well with it.

Food tastes great, unfortunately like everyone else mentioned, there’s just not enough soup/broth with each order. Soup comes in a tiny tiny container barely enough to soak the udon bowls. Flavours are there, but just not enough to quench your craving for something soupy. All the tempura (ordered 2 of everything) comes with no tempura sauce either, so you really need to keep what's left of your "soup" to use as a "sauce" at that point to make do with what you have to work with. There's enough "broth" to make your udon moist with flavours at most. I'd rename my combo: dry udon with a side of sauce.

Curry Nikutama Udon + Kitsune Udon Portion size and flavour is good!
Chicken Karaage a bit dry and Zucchini Tempura was soggy.
