Hands down the best Island BBQ you'll ever have. The 1. Beef Rib Plate (Sam's Plate) is amazing and massive portion, but the star of the show will always be 2. Short Rib (Kalbi) Plate THE BEST KALBI ribs and they are made by Samoans so you know they're gonna be delicious. Makes me proud as a fellow Polynesian to know there's a place that makes food just like they do back home

We've been going to matiki for years, the amount of food an quality has gone so down hill. The steak taste like beef jerky. The plates use to last 2 meals and for $22 a piece should not be this skimpy- were getting more at Panda Express. I keep saying we won't be going back but have continued giving another chance but think this was our last.

OMG, my family is from Tennessee and these were the best tasting beef ribs that I have ever had. They were falling off of the bone and packed with flavor, not to mention it was more than enough for one person. The next time that I'm in California I will definitely be returning.

This is absolutely thebest Hawaiian BBQ in the area. I have had everything but keep ging back to the Beef Ribs. They ae their best dish by far.The Macaroni Salad and Green Salad ae perfect sides. Nobody beats Matiki Island BBQ!

This place is a freaking five star restaurant. I always order Sam's plate, beef, ribs, and white rice. They always give me a huge portion of ribs. Well worth the money they give you $40-$50 worth of beef ribs with absolutely delicious flavor for only $20. I order this at least once a week the meat and rice is super fresh and flavorful. I will continue to order from here forever. Tell Sam I said, thank you and his plates amazing. Tonight for dinner I ordered my wife the chicken plate and she devoured it. She said it was so good. Plenty of food great flavor and it hits the spot and it's not overpriced. It's a great deal.
