i got the royal chicken burger and sweet potato fries. It was so good and the portions are very generous for the price! everything i get here is good. its my new favorite place!

I have not seen a better value on DoorDash than this place. The pasta and ceviche were both excellent, came in a surprisingly large portion, and are less expensive than anywhere else in LA.
Can't wait to try more of the menu. Will be ordering again

I ordered from Melrose Café through DoorDash, and the quality of the meal genuinely exceeded my expectations. This wasn’t “good for delivery” — this was just good food, period.
Melrose Pasta
The Melrose Pasta is a carefully crafted dish that shows real intention behind each ingredient. The sautéed chicken breast is tender and well-seasoned, not dry or overcooked like you often get from delivery. The apple bacon adds a smoky-sweet depth that elevates the entire plate — you can taste that slight crisp caramelization that only comes from cooking with attention.
The mushrooms and garlic bring an earthy aromatic base, and the Alfredo ties everything together beautifully. The sauce is creamy without being overly heavy, and it coats the rigatoni perfectly, filling the tubes with flavor instead of drowning the dish. The balance is what stands out: every bite gives you something different — a hint of sweetness from the bacon, savory notes from the chicken, and that silky Alfredo backdrop.
Rigatoni is a bold choice for a dish like this, and Melrose Café nails it. It kept its structure in delivery, maintaining that firm, al dente bite you want from a proper pasta.
Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup
The homemade chicken noodle soup was another highlight. It tasted like something made in-house, not mass-produced. The broth is clean, warm, and flavorful — comforting without being overly salty. I like having the option to pick different sides for the Chicken Parmigiana , since I have to limit my carb intake due to health reasons. Tasted good and good portions for the price! The Minestrone Soup was a delightful surprise. Hearty, warm and comforting, lots of veggies and tastes great, like it was freshly made. Would definitely order both items again.

Quite delicious I must say . I have added photos of their Melrose Pasta, which I believe is a popular item. You will see two photos of their pasta i have uploaded. The one without the fork shows how it arrived, which was very delicious. The second picture shows how I added crushed red pepper because that's how I like to eat pasta sometimes and it was very good. I also added the fork because I did not receive one, which is absolutely understandable. I am just in an in between time so I didn't have a fork at that time. I have many forks in different places, though. I am very very enthralled and happy to know and have tasted their minestrone because it has a lot of the proper nutrients that I have been missing and craving. It is a very generous portion. My cheesecake did not come with any berry syrup and I can not remember if that was promised actually. Regardless, it was palatable to say the least. The best part is that all of this quality came at a very affordable price, which I pray will stay that way or at least close to that way. Best wishes and keep up the good work !.
