• 28/7/24Honestly this place slaps everytime, ive tried all their chicken dishes and enjoyed them all, very filling. Their Mac salad is delish. Today we tried some apps the Shrimp Shumai and Spam Musubi (2) and enjoyed both for never having musubi before. A new favorite!

• 16/6/25We had high hopes for this restaurant because it is pretty unique, but the food was pretty subpar. The Pork Chashu Bun was packaged in the bag on its side, so it had completely fallen apart; the meat portion in it was generous, but it was fairly dry and unflavorful. The Hawaii BBQ Beef was decently cooked, but barely had flavor, so if I had not happened to order a side of Hawaiian bbq sauce it would have been really bland (and for $1, they only gave a half ramikan). The Hawaii Original Katsu was overcooked, and didn't come with any dipping sauce---and even though I ordered no rice, it came sitting in a container on top of rice. My boyfriend's Taro milk shake was extremely sweet he said, but nice and thick.
My boyfriend like his Spam Musubi (2), but wished it had a sauce to dip it in so made one for himself. I enjoyed my Peach Berry Green Tea , but I didn't order bubbles because the description said it had fresh fruit in it already, which ended up not being true.

• 26/2/26This place is not for me. Huge portions, and the food was decent, but I really just felt like I was eating Sarku Japan from the mall. The Philly Steak Egg Roll (2) were INCREDIBLY greasy-- it took about 15 sheets of Bounty to get it to a point were it was edible, but at least it tasted good. Not bad, just not for me. The mac salad was VERY disappointing though--- very bland. Again, just not for me. I don't regret the purchase as I had wondered about this place for a long time. Glad I tried it and can put it on the list of places I won't repurchase from. The Katsu chicken from my Hawaii Chicken Mix was really good but still extremely greasy. Ended up tossing it as all that grease started making me ill.

• 30/6/26The side macaroni salad the Hawaii Seafood Mix comes with was stale and tasted like it was going bad. The container made all the food soggy. The Philly Steak Egg Roll (2) tasted like the meat was going bad as well. This was disappointing.

• 8/1/26The Crab Rangoon (6) are so good, but the star of the "Abbott Elementary, order take out night" show is the Spam Musubi (2) ughhh I wish I could eat one or two everyday!
