Tasty & delicious sandwiches! The meat is sliced right in front of you and all the ingredients are very fresh! It was busy at lunch time when I went which is expected but service was still fast. Worth the wait if there is a line! I got the Luciano Special and added pepperoncinis! I am a big foodie and will make this place a staple every time im in SF!

Most likely the best sandwich spot in the city. Massive selection of really high quality meats, the bread is outstanding, fantastic choice of spreads and condiment. The quality of all ingidients is head and shoulders above other sandwiches I've had in the city. 10/10 in my book.

I paid $20 for a sandwich and there was very little turkey or cheese on it. I paid an extra $1.50 for the mozzarella cheese and there was a very small amount. Not to mention the soft roll was crumbling apart as if it was old. I loved this place but I doubt I will ever order from here again. Poor value, poor sandwich, poor quality.

Top quality ingredients per usual but they forgot to add the basil spread I paid extra for. Usually super busy but it's worth the (often long) wait. Grilled Focaccia Special is likely the best sandwich of its kind in SF and they have a fun variety of unusual imported sodas to choose from. Iconic Italian deli with many delicious made in house ingredients or exclusive options. If you're in a hurry, have dietary restrictions/allergies or are finicky about getting exactly what you want this might not be the right place for you.

They have the best sandwiches in the city. Hands down. The Luciano Special is my favorite. They really pile on the meat. It's delicious and fresh. I'll always come back. Worth every penny.
