The baked beans were really sweet. I don't know what seasoning or spice was used in the mac n cheese, but it did not belong, I could not stomach it. It looked really good but a hard pass. I must have missed something in the description of this place because the fried chicken I thought I was getting were cauliflower. Don't get me wrong, I like cauliflower but if I'm expecting chicken that's what I'm looking for. There was a slimy texture to the fried cauliflower, I'm not even sure they were all cauliflower but it was a no go as I'm a texture person. The breading in the cauliflower was well seasoned and if it was in fact chicken, I would have eaten them. The greens were seasoned, but you could taste the absence of any meat for added flavor. I'm sure the ribs are not real ribs, but if you can get past the semi-mushy texture, they have a nice flavor. The portions were a decent size, enough for two meals. I haven't tried the yams yet, but I can only imagine how sweet they will be if based off of the baked beans.
I need to go back to the restaurant's description to see if it's a vegan or vegetarian restaurant. I would not order this again.

I saw Aunt Tab post about this place awhile back and I decided to give it try... And I wish I hadn't ordered ... The spaghetti was overcooked and dry...The mushrooms looked great... However, the presentation of my spaghetti ruin everything for me... So I didn't bother trying the mushrooms ... $25 gone to waste... Houston vegan spots have to do better!

My meal seemed a bit rushed, and I didn’t care too much for the mushrooms. I do really enjoy the rib plate, but unfortunately it was unavailable this time, so I settle for this option . Overall, the customer service here is great, and the rib plate is definitely my favorite. However, everything else I’ve tried here still needs some improvement.

This was exactly what I needed today! Everything was sooooo good. I've been fully Vegan since July and this plate proved once again that I made the right decision. I'd definitely order again. The portions are huge! The beans and collards were my favorite.
