The DS25. Deep-Fried Shrimp Roll / DS25. 酥脆 鲜虾 卷 omg the best shrimp roll I have ever had in my life! The flavor was amazing!! I can eat those allday ! The D05. Salt & Pepper Squid / D05. 椒盐 鱿鱼 was cooked perfect but I feel could of have more flavor. The DS11. Chicken Feet with Special Sauce / DS11. 好 味 酱 蒸 凤爪 was the bomb! Very tender and flavorful! I love this place!

The sweet and sour E02. Sweet & Sour Chicken / E02. 甜酸 was a large size but for the first time ever that I've experienced there was bell peppers in it. I didn't love the way it made the chicken taste around it. The sauce and DS26. Deep-Fried Veggie Roll / DS26. 芋 丝 炸 春卷 where great. I wouldn't order the chicken again but the veggie rolls I would.

The congee was bland and could use more pork and century egg. The pieces of pork and egg were too small and little. I had to add my own soy sauce. But the congee was smooth overall, and pork crepe was good.

DS52. Beef Congee with Egg / DS52. 窝 蛋 牛肉 粥 is comforting and delicious with a soft cooked egg. It was even better after I added a little soy sauce and ground white pepper! You get a full quart of congee!

When I go to restaurants, I look for signature dishes, but I also look at what's really, really common. Things like coffee, hash browns, French fries, buns...the sort of ubiquitous items that a lot of places use as "filler", and use to cut corners and keep profit margins up, can turn a good meal into a great one.
Nani was like that: Excellent quality all around, but what really stood out to me was the rice. It was perfectly cooked, chewy, slightly sticky, the way good rice should be. It added to the meal and the experience of the entrees; it wasn't just an afterthought. Lots of kitchens just use instant, or overcook it, or it comes out too dry after sitting out too long. This level of attention to the fine details, in a generally underwhelming part of the meal, gives me confidence in composition of the rest of the entrees; and they were excellent. E05. Sesame Chicken / E05. 芝麻 鸡, E04. General Tso Chicken / E04. 左 宗 鸡, J12. Chicken Fried Rice / J12. 鸡肉 炒饭. Crispy batter even after delivery , tender meat, good sauce, good pepper flavor. I'll come back again for sure.
