If I could choose only one comfort food for the rest of my life, this would be it. Either the chicken, peanut sauce and broccoli or the classic khao man gai, I love both equally. The chicken is always absolutely perfect, as is the rice. The portions are huge and it's very affordable.
And don't forget, always get one extra minced garlic and 2 extra KMG sauces!

Incredible food for incredible prices! Will be ordering again here soon. The Chicken and Rice (Khao Man Gai) is a staple for a reason! The ingredients mesh perfectly together and they are so refreshing and delicious. Portion sizes are generous for the price!

Super fresh and tasty! Love that they have cheap add ons to deck out their classic Chicken and Rice (Khao Man Gai). Added Xtra Nong's KMG Sauce, Fresh Chopped Chili & Garli Chili Paste Combo, and Fresh Chopped Garlic to deck it all out. Not to mention the local Side Tofu was so fresh and soft. Also highly recommend the Thai Tea Float it was extra creamy and delicious 😋

The pork and rice was so flavorful and the portion size was perfect. I also ordered the soup and I love a good clear soup and it had an incredible garlic flavor. I got their special sauce to put on the pork and it's so delish. A must try!

Chicken and Rice (Khao Man Gai) is one of the tastiest things anyone can eat in Portland (or the world). Using thoughtful ingredients like Mary's chicken is an important choice that I am glad Nong continues to offer and serve. The chicken skins as a side to this dish makes it something you'll be telling your future grandkids about!
