This is one of the most perfect rice I have ever tried. I keep coming back for more. Its so good, the size of the chicken amaze me. Everything about this dish is perfect.

The chicken was bomb. The jollof rice could've used a little bit more seasoning. One of the burnt kala tasted a little like water but it was still good. The portion was great for the price. Overall this was a really good meal

Bawo! This was my first time tasting any Nigerian food from an actual restaurant. Most of my experience has been in someone's kitchen. I had the Egusi and FUFU. The flavors were not really there and the meat was bland and too tough. The egusi tasted nutty and spicy, but there was something missing...perhaps a pinch of salt. The Fufu was not my jam either. I won't tell anyone how to price their food, but over 20 dollar for the portion size I received was too expensive. However, the service was fast. Maybe I'll try another dish from this restaurant.

Food is almost always a hit at this West African food restaurant. The pepper soup and fufu can never go wrong. The plantain and fish is one of my favorites. Turkey wings and flavorful ( little pricey for one piece though). Potato greens is almost always delicious. Palm butter, Palace Sauce and Rice and kidney beans are delicious. I always get at least one meat pie and several Kala and doughnuts with my order. If the Meat Pie wasn't so pricey, I'd get like 4 each time. It's sooo good. I get the Liberian foods all the time. I only would request that they try and cook with less oil. The dishes with red oil have been brimming to the top of the bowl with oil lately.
Other than that, I used to have issues with them not crediting my account back if they do not have a dish that I've ordered on a given day and neither calling to substitute with another or whole missing items in my orders several times due to some unscrupulous employees I suspect but I now I call ahead and make sure they have it after a couple complaints to the manager.

The food looks and tastes nice! Love how the plantain is now placed in a separate bowl from the baked fish. There's also a great improvement with the suya meat texture, it's not tough. I recommend this place.
