They're using a super high temp oven they're opening a lot and I ordered well done at peak of rush hour and cheese slid onto box during delivery and I ate it separately from well done crust, man it was good
Pepperoni, onion, extra sauce, well done
Hard not to screw up an 18" or a big Chicago style, but it was very good and I'll get another in a week when I finish this one

So I've been going to Papa D's pizza for years. Donato was a MasterChef when it comes to Italian food and pizza. I had known him to the various restaurants that he owned/operated in the Orlando area along with his quest for customer satisfaction, and superior product
When he sold the business, I was very disappointed, and I was hesitant to order from the new owners. It took some time, but I finally made the call. I was very disappointed with what came to my door. The pizza was not as it used to be. Any ingredients were not as fresh as they used to be. Donato would be in the restaurant early in the morning prepping everything that he was gonna serve for that day. This team wouldn’t put in an extra 20 min to even care about what is going out the door.
It's been a few times now that I have called the location to try to order food but the chicken parm is horrible. The sauce is lacking and I would never order a pizza from them again. Also customer service has gone down at a 90° angle. I know Donato and Mary would be very unhappy with what they built in the Dr. Phillips area.
Funny, I first met Donato back when he was a chef at an Italian restaurant in front of the Walmart on Kirkman. I won't order from this business again, and I would suggest anybody thinking of possibly ordering from them to try somewhere else..
It's a sad day where you can't really find an amazing mom and pop Italian restaurant in the area. I would suggest Vincenzo on international Drive is fantastic, but they are expensive.
I would love for Donato to order delivery from them one night and just see how he likes the food. Consider this a warning!!!

Excellent pizza, best we have ever found locally. Always feel welcome when we stop in, staff is friendly and makes sure all our orders are correct.

Disappointed in the pizza I have recently received from here. I used to love this pizza last year. I do not know if there are new owners or new ingredients but the pizza does not taste as fresh or as a NYC pizza as I remember.
