Piqueo's in Bernal Heights is a great place to enjoy delicious Peruvian cuisine. Their adobo, a savory and slow-cooked dish, is particularly flavorful and tender. The pork belly brocetas are perfectly grilled and juicy, while the tequenos are a delightful appetizer. And to top it all off, their drinks selection complements the food perfectly. Overall, Piqueo's offersa delicious and authentic Peruvian dining experience.

This is average Peruvian food and very small portions for the price. The flavor wasn't there for me, but I will say that the meat was good quality and the Chicha Morada was pretty good. Maybe it's way better in person, but I'll probably never find out. There's just too much competition that tastes better. Papa a la Huancaina was average, but the smell of the olives was seriously overpowering and put me off the dish and the huancaína was very grainy. Lomo Saltado was good meat quality, but very small portions and the flavor was off for me. I would definitely call myself a Peruvian food connoisseur and this place is just not it. I had requested the Aji Verde sauce, but they didn't have it. Really?? There needs to be a "meh" option between the thumbs up and thumbs down because neither of those feel right. I'm gonna put thumbs up because they weren't terrible, just meh. Also please find a way to package the Chicha Morada better...it leaked a lot.

This is the best Arroz Chaufa I ever tried in San Francisco. Also the Chicha Morada its on point and love that it has Apple pieces on it.
