I read a lot of reviews before ordering and everyone was right---this was some of THE BEST chicken in Oklahoma! the Campero Beans- delicious! I want more!
the roll- akin to a Hawaiian sweet roll, delicious! I want another one.
fried plantains- delisioso! they are a little sweet but not as sweet as a banana. they have the texture and taste more like a sweet potato. I'm a dipper and didn't know what would be good to dip these in so I just used the campero sauce. that wasn't it so I'll have to try something else.
the Individual Empanada- better than I expected and also smaller than I expected, but very good, I wished I had ordered 2. if you're familiar with another restaurants southwestern egg rolls-- very very similar, same type of flaky pastry wrapping, same filling but with shredded chicken cooked in a red chile sauce. very flavorful!
horchata- the best I've tried so far, even better than my own. you can taste the cinnamon, but it's not too much. it's pretty sweet. order it without ice bc horchata is never good after the ice melts and waters the flavor down. I hope they'll add elotes to their menu soon and I'd definitely be ordering more often. it was a little too expensive for fried chicken, so it will be more of a treat less often than I'd like. but for sure, I'm glad we tried it and we're not disappointed. if you like beans, get the beans. if you don't like beans, still get the beans bc they were sooo flavorful. not the typical basic pinto beans. you can taste every ingredient and spice. so good!

The "sweet tea" is not sweet at all! The beans and chicken nugs are good but for the price of the sides, there definitely should be more than two tablespoons of beans. Hopefully ots better if you actually go to the restaurant. $22 is too much for what I got.

The very best chicken in OKC! Corn salad is refreshing and light and the yuca fries beat French fries hands down!

The chicken was alright overall legs were juicy and flavorful, but the thigh was way too soft and kinda wet for my taste. I also got the horchata and as always, it hit the spot. Sweet, creamy, perfect. The plantains were good too, just needed to be cooked a little more.
Now… the flan? Absolutely not. It looked and felt more like raw dough or pudding. Flan is supposed to be silky and jiggly, not whatever that was. Honestly worried it was old or undercooked. If I get sick, I’m blaming the flan 💀

Empanadas were not crispy they were soggy. It could just be because the bag was sealed and so the enclosed heat caused a steamy situation or condensation but not a good idea to order for delivery unless you are close to the business. They did have a good flavor tho.
