I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place was so delicious that I had to. First, their Brisket is absolutely amazing! It tastes like the people who make it genuinely care about creating a delicious product, rather than halfheartedly preparing it just to make a profit. The Hawaiian Macaroni Salad 5oz is so yummy and doesn’t rely on excessive vinegar for flavor. Their Ma's Red Potato Salad 5oz is equally impressive because it tastes homemade and fresh, as if someone truly cares! As long as Poppy’s Bar & Que stays true to its current approach, prioritizing fresh ingredients and that delightful homemade taste, my husband and I will remain loyal customers. I can’t wait to try more of their menu!

This was my first time ordering. I will say ordering on doordash has gotten extremely expensive and bbq is already pricey as is. I gave it 3 stars because I would never order it from door dash again. I paid nearly $30 for a small amount of brisket, a small mac & cheese and no drink (because the drink was over $4 and i couldn't even tell what size it was or if it was a can). Aside from the the bbq brisket was super tender , it was tasty but didn't have any particular flavor like seasoning, the mac n cheese was good. For the price, I assumed the meat would've came with a small sauce. I would say I need to go try them in person and see what the regular prices are. But for a door dash meal, price + taste + amount of food = this was not a great deal but an okay one.

There were four potato skins, but I ate one before taking a picture. I felt for the price there should be a couple of more, but they did taste good may not look good on the picture, but they tasted good.
