To the benefit of the Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich, it was larger than I had expected. The bread was dense enough to resist the moisture of the peppers and cucumbers without being overly dry or tough. The hummus proved to be a delightful inclusion.

The Gourmet Santa Cruz Sandwich is, for all intents and purposes, an "average" sandwich. The quality of the ingredients, however, are what saves it from having an "average" score. The bread paired very nicely with the cheese and the avocado was in a sense the metaphorical "icing on top." The only thing holding it back from my giving it a five-star rating is the lack of bacon. However, it still a high-quality sandwich.
