It was a little pricey but the food was well prepared and very well packaged. The fries were wonderful in general but they were especially great by takeout standards. I loved their texture and crispness. The ingredients were high quality across the board, odd detail but I really enjoyed the bun on the burger. The portion size was just right.

The Root is one of my favorite restaurants! Everything ive had on the menu is great, the mahi mahi is my favorite. I used to order my lunch from them 3/wk until they raised prices. But its a great treat!

I love this place. They have great food at a great price. Everything is really fresh. My last review was not so good- but it mustve just been an off night because other than that ive never had a bad experience. Im glad i keep coming back! The island chicken sandwich is my favorite. But evrything is yummy.

The two stars are for the truffle fries which are great! But the rest is genuinely lacking In flavor, the Mac and cheese on the other hand was completely flavorless. I don't know how you accomplish that but it was like textured water.
